New Design and a new business

Wow, two updates in a couple of days!!! How can this be?!

Hopefully, I make it a habit.

Well, I started on the new design, and it's going to be a little harder than I thought. I just need to learn Flash and make it like a cartoon version of my house and...well, you don't really know what the design is anyway.

Anyway, I'm starting another business. Haven't come up with a name yet, but if you're getting married and you want some engagement pics or an invitation online or the places where you registered online or maybe even a blog giving people updates...let me know. Because that's my business!

I know only about 2 people read this, but if they tell 2 people each, and those 4 tell 2 people each... You get the idea.

Update...I know, I know

Man, I know it's been a while, but I've been pretty busy...

I kind of had a let-down today. My boss, Carole, comes down to talk to us about our summer schedules. It's always a touchy subject, because there are three guys working and only 54 hours to work...seeing as how I need as many as possible, that doesn't leave a lot for the others. But that's not the let down

The letdown was she said she probably couldn't afford my services as a web designer now. And that was my payday! It was going to cover our trip to Ireland plus Jen's tuition and some computer updates for me (but after that, the money would be gone). She never really said no, but she said, she didn't know if they could afford it right now. I guess I could make a less expensive one for her and still get some. But who knows. I need to quit being negative about it...

On a more positive note, the hours issue may be resolved. She wants to open a shop in Enid (which is partly why she can't afford me), and I may get to work there. Full-time job. A little travel. Autonomy. A little freedom to do web stuff. And maybe a chance to expand my businesses.

I have a new idea for chrisandjenn.net. I think I'm going to go start on it soon. I have a test and group meetings both tomorrow and Friday. Sucky week, but it'll be over soon.
