Busy Weekend

Current Music -- "Lola" by The Kinks

Okay, the site is about finished. I believe that I have the CSS working. There are probably some unneeded parts, but better too much than not enough. I just have to make the pictures, design, and links pages. I'm thinking about adding a Gallery/Works of Art type page where Jen and I can display some of our favorite books, painting, etc. She really wants it, but we'll see.

I have some new designs I'm excited about getting up on the site. However, you'll have to wait for the design page to be made. I'm such as tease!

If I can get past Monday, I'll be golden. Two group projects and two presentations on the same day. But once it's over, it's over and finals shouldn't be too bad. I guess I really don't have much to say. I do have a worhwhile post in me, it's just not ready to come out yet. Until then, don't do anything stupid...

one love.

This is the first post of the CSS/Blogger.com era

Well, I think most everything is a go. I still need to do Jen's blog (which is cut and paste for the template), but the archiving isn't working. I'm hoping by publishing this one, it'll fix itself. Cross your fingers everyone!!!

The Trials and Tribulations of a CSS newbie

Okay, the CSS is about finished. I have to do just some minor cosmetic things with pictures and whatnot (which will probably take me the better part of my workday) and then all I have to do is write the HTML code and I'm done. Actually, that's not true. I need to make a place to store my photos and designs. Maybe I'll combine the two. Maybe not.

On a more personal note:
I've totally been dropping the ball lately. I haven't spent quality time with God in a while, which just messes up everything in my life. I've found, now that I'm married, that if I don't live up to God's standards, it's not just affecting me. I know Jen's been dissapointed in me lately. I know I haven't been the husband she needs. Check out this article. It pretty much sums things up.

Random Question of the Day: Does anyone know where I can find articles about the Texas Rangers as a business, instead of just box scores and recaps?

Check out Will's article today. It's a doozy, as usual.

Man, it's just randomly raining. Huge drops with a sunny sky. I love it. I guess it's one of those rare things that is possible but no one really gives much thought to. I guess that's kind of the way we are with Jah. We love him and just kind of get everything we already know. But if we dig a little deeper and embrace the unknown, (enter Metaphor)it could rain with no clouds.

one love.

Business and heartache

Yeah, I'm still not very good and coming up with deep, introspective titles.

I've got so much stuff to do and very little time to do it. I've got Philosophy homework (which sounds fairly interesting, but isn't), two group projects due next week, presentations over those projects in the next week, I'm working off and on on 4 websites Stillwater-Weddings.com, HannahsChildren.com, CalebsCall.com, and our own. Will is wanting in on the wedding one. He came over the other night and we hammered out some pretty good ideas. I'm pretty excited about starting on them. Too bad he's a chump and has to go home for the summer! HC.com and CC.com are coming along very slowly. I have to learn patUser (which I just printed off 9 pages of info and it's only part one of 3 parts) in order for people to log in and get member benefits. But I think I'll be able to use it for Stillwater-Weddings.com one day.

Had a busy but good weekend. I got to hang out with my favorite 5 year-old twins. Jen and I took Dallin and Gannon to CiCi's and played video games and ate pizza before church. And kid's church was crazy. We had like 6 kids that would NOT keep still! Actually Jen had most of them. I was with the older ones.

Arright. I'm off to make myself smarter. And check out Chris and Julie's wedding page. It should be totally ready in a day or two.

one love.
