One Year Ago...

Exactly one year ago - January 9, 2004 - Jen and I were in Hawaii kayaking up the Wailua River to a beautiful waterfall. We were on our honeymoon for about a week in January and had the most wonderful time. I think it should be a law that everyone has to visit Hawaii before they die! Yeah, it's that awesome.

This is a trail that our group took back from the waterfall. It was kind of a "secret" trail that our guide showed us. You had to crawl under a little hole in the brush and it opened up to this beautiful, for lack of a better word, groto that was covered in vines:
